Bulcao
Inspired by Sebastiao Salgado, between art and ecology
Its name, its meaning
Bulcao is the starting point for the reforestation project led by Brazilian photographer Sebastiao Salgado and his wife Lelia. Around this family farm, the couple has replanted millions of trees, bringing an entire ecosystem back to life.
You will find several books by Salgado in our library, whose work and humanism we admire.
Stabilising the dunes and growing the vegetation that you can admire from this room is also an important and beautiful project for us.
