Booking terms

A booking made on our website can only be considered confirmed once you have received an email from Akine Dyioni confirming your booking. The same applies to bookings made via WhatsApp. Bookings made by telephone are possible and valid.

We do not require a deposit in all cases for now.

We require a deposit in three situations: (1) if one room is booked for more than 5 nights, (2) if the booking is for 3 or more rooms for more than 2 nights, or (3) if it involves more than 3 rooms, regardless of the number of nights.

Cancellation of reservations

Reservations may be cancelled by telephone or email. Preferably 72 hours before the scheduled reservation date. 

Under no circumstances will a cancellation entitle you to a refund of any deposit paid if we have not been notified at least 72 hours in advance.

Akine Dyioni reserves the right to cancel a booking made by a customer for the following reasons, which are not exhaustive:

• Serious illness or disability of one or both owners. In this case, two weeks’ notice of cancellation will be given, and any deposit paid on a booking will be refunded.
• Damage to the premises due to fire or severe weather conditions such as storms or other climatic phenomena that jeopardise the safety of guests. No notice will be given and the deposit will be refunded.
• Water and/or electricity supply disruption over a given period, making it impossible for us to carry out our duties. No notice will be given and the deposit will be refunded.
• Social or political events that may endanger the safety of guests and staff. No notice will be given and the deposit will be refunded.

Payment

The room rate can be paid on arrival, no later than the day of departure, when you check out at 11 a.m.

Payment for your stay can be made in cash (CFA francs only) or via Orange Money.

If you pay a deposit, this can be done by bank transfer to Akine Dyioni’s account in Senegal or via Orange Money.

You can withdraw CFA francs in Cap Skirring using a Visa card. You can exchange euros in Diembering or Cap Skirring.
