The Tankoano people live in the province of Gourmantché, in the far east of Burkina Faso. They are fervent animists and great connoisseurs of the mysteries of the bush, and their myths fascinate us.

Burkina Faso is one of our favourite countries, and we count a Tankoano couple among our long-standing friends. The wooden pillars that welcome you at the entrance to this hut are theirs.
